ubeon supports the Global Compact Network Belgium
Since 2001, the UN Global Compact forms a global leadership network for businesses and their CEO’s, offering a unique strategic platform to advance sustainability and responsible business practices.
Companies that accept this initiative subscribe to an ethical code, in order to encourage, promote and guarantee compliance with minimum standards in the areas of human rights, employment, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Through collective action, the Global Compact aims to strengthen the sense of responsibility and public welfare.
On 15 October 2009, the Global Compact Network Belgium will be formed under the auspicious of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yves Leterme, representatives of the European Commission, the United Nations and Belgian business leaders.
As an active participant to the Global Compact, ubeon endorses and actively supports the launch of the Belgian network for the UN Global Compact, and we encourage all of our stakeholders to join us in our commitment, and to establish firm relations with the Global Compact Network Belgium and its members.
